Step 3 of the 12 Steps of AA & Al Anon “Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.”
Step 3 is about taking action to turn your will and life over to a power greater than yourself.
It’s not an easy thing to do.
In Step 2, you make a decision to believe in a power greater than yourself. But without action, the decision remains fruitless.
The beauty comes when you move forward with action to handing over your will to God. That’s when you see the benefits and the rewards of a spiritual awakening start to occur.
