Alicia gives an inspiring talk at an AA meeting! One of the best aa speakers out there!
Addiction treatment WORKS! The Twelve Step Model has been utilized as a treatment for alcohol abuse and alcoholism since 1935. It is extremely important to know that help IS out there and addiction recovery is possible. If you are battling alcoholism, drug addiction, addiction or any other form of addictive behavior, there are people who know EXACTLY what it is like!
You can find out more at: http://www.aa.org – Alcoholics Anonymous Official Site – As should be blatantly obvious, we are in no way affiliated with them or any other Twelve Step Program. We are just looking to provide hope to those suffering from alcoholism or addiction.
It is important to note there are several ways for one to address his or her alcohol abuse treatment. Substance abuse is a very serious condition and has become an epidemic in today’s world. Many people suffering with substance abuse need treatment, such as inpatient stays, rehab, or counseling. The importance and purpose of this video, and all our other videos, is to show that recovery IS possible and to give hope to those who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction issues. Help IS out there!
From the book Alcoholics Anonymous: “In spite of the great increase in the size and span of this Fellowship, at its core it remains simple and personal. Each day, somewhere in the world, recovery begins when one alcoholic talks with another alcoholic, sharing experience, strength, and hope.”

A A is a way to god , filling the spiritual hole
Filling the void inside. What a great topic, seldom comes out directly in
AA. Powerful stuff. Great wisdom. I struggle witth abstaining from sugar
cravings now that I am not drinking. Sugar addiction, coffee addiction, sex
addiction. One addiction issue takes a back seat. Another can so easily
take the one you abstain from.
Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. You sound like an awesome mom.
This is the most honest and familiar ID I have heard. Is there any way to
contact this speaker by email?
I identify so so much
Thank you so much for sharing this!
Excellent. No story is too small or too large. I haven’t heard one yet
“Love others, as you love yourself.” It is
that didn’t teach me something so thank you. God was/is the strength of me
when I finally was at the end of myself. I don’t want to put him on the
back burner any longer after I’ve gotten what I wanted. Lack of
communication is deadly. I stopped being in love with myself and am
enjoying loving myself.
standing still that will hurt us. Songs
So moving, all the scars are our greatest gifts for us to help others, thank
you so much, this really helps me understand and strengthens me.14 months
sober but not clean, but I’m getting there
Thank you for sharing your story with me I thank you for helping me with a
another day of living my life on lifes terms. Scars are my gift I am
covered to and when I look at them I just thank god that I made it through
to be able to make it back to the rooms after a 15 year hell on wheels
relapse. god bless you
